Every year, it’s the same story. In the heart of winter, a list of artists is announced, and we can already imagine it coming to life a few months later in the lakeside, summery, and joyful setting of the Eurockéennes. For 2024, it’s impossible to start the imagination machine without beginning with the end: Sunday evening with David Guetta taking the grand stage alone. After Daft Punk (1996, 2006) and DJ Snake (2017) a few years earlier in the same place, the Parisian completes the Big Three of international dance music.

On imagine aussi déjà les guitares de Lenny Kravitz (4 Grammy Awards et 1 Super Bowl), Sum 41 (tournée d’adieu) et Dropkick Murphys (tournée de pintes) faire vibrer les âmes ; les rimes de Bigflo & Oli, Kaaris (performe son album Or Noir) et Gazo faire sautiller les corps ; ou les sets d’Idles, Blondshell, Fat dog et Girl and Girl faire serrer les petits cœurs des férus d’indie-rock. Une édition dans la légende ? Attendons un peu pour voir. Même si les Pretenders resteront à nos côtés tandis que The Breeders débouleront au Malsaucy comme un boulet de canon. En 2024, l’histoire continue de s’écrire à Belfort. And then, because a successful edition of the Eurockéennes requires a few good dance moves, it’s impossible not to imagine yourself busting out your best moves for the exclusive NeoPerreo Fuego set. Coming from the dark barrios of Santiago, the Neoperreo style—a Chilean cousin of reggaeton—sets up its embassy at the Eurocks, bringing along two of its best representatives (Tomasa del Real and DJ Lizz). This Latin American breeze is also reflected in the colorful and tropical identity of the 2024 poster designed by Colombian designer Guache. Sticking with the brushes, the Art Point M collective takes on the challenge of gathering 2,000 festival-goers under the big top on Sunday for an XXL makeup performance. A vibrant edition, you’ve been warned.

VDLV in Belfort for the 3rd Consecutive Year to Inform and Raise Awareness

60 artists on the lineup, four days and nights of open-air music, four stages… The 34th edition of the Eurockéennes is already taking shape in the minds and hearts of tens of thousands of eager festival-goers. Anchored in its time, the nonprofit festival aims to intensify its efforts in 2024 to reduce its environmental impact and strengthen its support for youth.

Thanks to the success of the past two editions, VDLV has decided to repeat the experience.

With VDLV, switch to vaping and take the pledge for zero cigarette butts!

Since 2018, the No Cigarette Butts at Malsaucy campaign, an initiative led by the festival in partnership with the Departmental Council of the Territory of Belfort, has prompted reflection on cigarette consumption at an event of this scale. Various actions have already been implemented, particularly regarding the collection and recycling of cigarette butts (distribution of pocket ashtrays, installation of fixed ashtrays…). Since 2022, with the partnership between VDLV and the Eurockéennes, a complementary approach has been adopted: substituting cigarettes with vaping products, thereby preventing the littering of cigarette butts in a protected natural area.
